Remote training with Will was a brilliant experience. He was in touch on a daily basis, constantly observing my progress and checking in to how things were going. I would highly recommend Will as a remote programmer and trainer. He’s coached me for 5yrs.
I’m a competitive rower and previously had a 2k PB of 6.58. During a 3-month run up to an international competition, my goal was to beat that and get 6.50. I ended up achieving a 6.45 time smashing the previous PB.
There were times where I fell off the program, had doubts etc but Will was there every step of the way to help me through the dark moments. The exercise program coupled with motivational monitoring was the key to me achieving my goal!

Will coached me through the Covid-19 lockdown. We had an initial Skype call to discuss my goals and objectives, and what equipment I had access to.
Will then did up a completely bespoke training plan based on what equipment I had and my objectives. I logged my workouts on Truecoach and also took videos. Will monitored my progress each session, giving regular useful feedback on my results or videos.
We also had regular Skype catch-ups and that helped to adapt and enhance the training plan for what was working and what wasn’t. Will also adapted the training plan as I got access to more equipment, and also looked at non-training factors that might be impacting me achieving my goals including my dodgy sleep patterns and came up with practical suggestions to try to improve things.
Overall my objectives were to focus on improving muscle mass and overall body strength - by the time I was able to go back to the gym I noticed a marked improvement in both. When lockdown hit I had been worried about the impact on my fitness but Will was a lifesaver and ensured that I didn’t waste that time and made real progress towards my goals!

Will was remote coaching me during the lockdown for three months and I must say, I was more fit than ever. After the first two months I have lost around 2.5kg while I built some muscle mass and strength at the same time. I have also learned some new tricks like pull ups, handstand push-ups and pistol squats (not bad for a guy who couldn't do a set of lunges due to a knee pain).
He was great with programming my workouts with only the few equipment I had at home and I've also got some useful advice on nutrition.
